In the interest of full disclosure..

...this is what my house looked like for the first week after Kai moved in to live with us.

My house is not always clean. My laundry is rarely done. I don't always handle things well. My voice isn't always sweet.

I'm not super woman. I'm not even close. Life isn't perfect or Beaver Cleaver. It is MESSY and wild and wonderful. I just thought you should know.

Hugs, Angel :-)

I think you lie because EVERY time I hear you your voice IS sweet. Love you and cracking up about the playroom. Told ya not to sweat it when the stained concrete didn't turn out perfect- you can't see it anyway. ;0) Hee/Hee

Sorta like trying to capture the real beauty of a wedding dress in pictures. Can't happen. If you are there in person, then you see it. While having the blessings of staying in your home for a couple of days this week, nothing was more evident than the love, care and well being of each other that exudes from each family member. All I saw was the joy, patience, (yes, Russ....I said patience), kindness, sharing, etc. etc. So don't feel bad about the mess. Continue to save your energy molding those precious little hearts and minds. Savor the snuggle time you so wisely use to reassure the safe haven they will always have. Y'all are doing an awesome job!!! I love being in your home and around your kids.
Love and Prayers!

That sound you just heard was the collective sigh of relief from all those of us who get wrapped up in caring for our kiddos every day...and look at our playrooms before we trudge to bed and wonder "When did THIS happen?!"

Sometimes the light switch is the best cleaning tool.

Thanks for giving us all a little hope--or at least, a little company!

Wait, was there something wrong with those pictures? I don't get it. My home looks like that every day.....just a lot more blue and cammo and dart guns.

Wow...I've stayed away from blog hopping too long---You have a new baby Boy! Kai Justice is gorgeous. Congratulations! And the girls are growing even more beautiful each day.

I was hoping to pass on some info on a 4 yr old boy (adopted at One Yr Old from Guatemala) who needs a family. Do you know of a family who may be a possibility. I'd love to pass on info about him.
