It's hard to put into words for you what love feels like to a little girl who lived most of her life without much of anything. What does it feel like when it washes over her that these people really, truly love her?
I can't explain what I see in Zoe but I can finally show you. Tia Bek gave Zoe a very special gift this Christmas. It wasn't special ONLY because of what it was. I think for Zoe it was special because she knew how much it meant. It was something that was Tia Bek's- that Zoe never imagined would be given away to anyone... and it overwhelmed her little heart.
All Zoe knew is that there was a gift for her upstairs that would have an ornament hanging on it matching the one in Zoe's hand. She had a very hard time believing her sweet eyes when she saw it.
That's what love feels like for Zoe...

I have no idea who Tia Bek is or what the relationship is, nor do I know why a guitar was such a special gift for your daughter, but the pictures tell a powerful story. I am thrilled beyond words that she is so loved and cherished. I have to say that I did get tears in my eyes looking at the pictures not even knowing the story behind them. I want for W. what Zoe has- a forever family who will help her heal from the hurts and who will guide her to her purpose. I want W. to be able to receive love like Zoe has learned to do and I want for her to have that smile and twinkle in her eyes that your Zoe has that say "This world may be tough, but I have a FAMILY and together we can face whatever comes our way!"

Since I know Tia Bek and how big it is for her to give something of hers to someone, I am crying right now. I mean tears are dropping off of my cheeks. How awesome that God has placed Bek and Zoe in each others lives through you and your mom! Awesome!!!!
