Kaiya's 1 Month Update

Here is a video to show you some of what Kaiya has learned after being home only one month!!!! Can you believe this cutie patootie??? She amazes me. Russ and I frequently look at each other and just shake our heads at the thought of her in an orphanage. It just breaks my heart to think that could have been her future. It breaks my heart for the other sweet baby boys and girls who wait. She is such a miracle. It doesn't fit to think of her without a family- our family. I am SO very thankful that God sent me each of my precious daughters in such different ways. They have taught me things I didn't even know I needed to learn. Enjoy some Kaiya cuteness. Hugs, Angel

I'm sitting here watching Kaiya with my 2 1/2 year old Guatetot and she said "Bye Kaiya!" She's doing so well! What a princess you have!!! :)

She is just so adorable. LOVE the video!!

Yes we do go to the Woodlands Childrens Museum sometimes so you'll have to let us know the next time you are going and we'll have to meet up. I was thinking that one time when you blogged a Woodlands trip...I was thinking Angel and her girls were so close and we didn't get together!!

What a cutie!! I love sign language it really helps as they are learning a whole new set of sounds. My Jman however, has made
up his own sign language, refusing to speak sometimes - it is mostly comical, occasionally annoying:)

I have not gone all the way through your adoption blogs for Kaiya, was she ever at the Phillip Hayden Foundation in Lang Fang? She reminds me of a little girl who was there last summer.

Our son must like the older women...he went crazy when he saw Kaiya. He hasn't paid any attention to the computer, but as soon as he heard her, he wanted in my lap to watch. Then he started blowing kisses when she said bye-bye. He was quite taken with her. I am just amazed at what she has learned and is doing. God is truly amazing in how he brought her to you!

Wow. I am amazed at her ability to understand AND communicate so soon!
Josiah didn't speak for THREE months!!!! This is so wonderful b/c it is so frustrating for both Mama and baby when you can't communicate properly!
Thanking God for all the blessings that are Kaiya!!

Angel I love you blog, it always touches me. Sometimes it makes me think about where I stand in life but usually it just reminds me of how blessed we are to have such beautiful families created by the Lord.

Thanks for dropping by the blog and for the kind words. I think the honest post is a great idea. It was really hard to write mine because even though I try to live very honest it is nice to have that little blog bubble to hide behind.

Drop by anytime! I know I always check your blog.

I found your blog and love it! I added my name. I also watched your video with the jonas brother's song. My nephew is in the band. He's Greg Garbo the base player! I am glad you used their song! We are paper chasing for our second baby from China. Your blog touches my heart!
