I had my first minor melt down last night. I was tired- REALLY tired. :0) It's just last minute "Oh my word! How am I going to get it all done?" jitters and stress. No worries... My hubby was very sweet about it. He tucked me in for the night. I slept a long time and felt a bit more sane. There were a few stressful moments today but all in all the trip is falling into place.
Just a few missing documents to be printed and signed. We are actually going TO CHINA! Wow... When I slow down to think about it I am so thrilled and can hardly stand my own excitement. Then there is the occasional moment when I realize I have to buy DIAPERS that I get this feeling like WHAT AM I DOING??? I am going to have to change DIAPERS AGAIN. Hey people... I am just trying to keep it real around here. I am mostly excited and a little bit nervous. We leave for China in 5 days! I will be holding Kaiya in 10 days! Only 4 days till the kiddos go to Nonny's house... only 3 more days to GET EVERYTHING DONE! LOL!!!

I am so excited for you! I can't even imagine how anxious you must be to see her sweet little face! I am getting goosebumps for you ... you will get everything done ... you are amazing, remember?
Praying for you girl! You will get it all done- and then some! I have no doubt about it! I cannot believe it's almost here. I will be checking in every single day- so between hugging and kissing on Kaiya you have to let us know how you guys are doing! SO EXCITED- you are a mommy of THREE GIRLS!! YIPPEE! Amy
Cut yourself some slack, Meltdowns just get rid of all that pent up energy and excitment, it's ok to have them sometimes!!!
Can't believe how close you are to having that sweet baby girl in your arms.
Hugs and prayers to you.
Hang in there girl - you are almost there! Before you know it, you will have Kaiya in your arms.
One suitcase??? That's crazy!
I can't believe you only get ONE suitcase either that can only weigh 45 lbs! You must have some serious packing skills in order to pull that one off...
Um, good luck packing? :) I had to laugh on the diapers comment. When we brought Maria home, she was in diapers but only for a few months. However, since Joshua was 8 months old, we are in the long term with diapers for him. It had been a long time since we had a baby in the house (diapers, night wakings, etc.). And it is a challenge sometimes...but I can honestly say I enjoy it now more than I did when our bio. kids were babies...I think because I know how quickly that time goes. Anyway, I know you are ready to have that precious baby girl home and I cannot wait!

Angel,....you can do it! You are way more organized than I. I received notice on a Tuesday at noon when I was at work that we had a Guatemala appointment Friday morning so had to leave Thursday am. I had to pack, get tickets, make travel plans since we were there 13 days and the travel agent wouldn't let us do anything until we had dates. So what's a little sleep...it over rated. :o) smile.

Hang in there girl! You have lots and lots of people sending you good vibes!
Awesome, Crazy Times! Let me know if you need to borrow the shipping scale :-0
Only one suitcase weighting 44 pounds? Holy Cow! Good luck packing and I can't wait to read posts from China! :-)
Angel - The picture of your suitcases cracks me up, because mine looks just the same!! I have all of this stuff in Walmart bags over flowing out of my opened suitcase. Luckily my husband will be with me on the way, so we will have two suitcases to stuff stuff into!! Can't wait to meet you in China!! Amy in Arizona
