Adrenaline Junkie?

WARNING!!!!! We may have an adrenaline junkie on our hands!
Zoe has been saying she wanted to go on the BIG roller coasters at Sea World since the 1st time we took her in January. I wasn't sure she understood enough English for me to explain how scary it might be so I wouldn't let her go. Her Tia Bek (my momma's best buddy) is a fellow adrenaline junkie and was more than happy to take her. This time I knew she understood that it was scary soooo....

We took her to see if she was tall enough. Why does she have to be so durn tall??? Hee hee! :0)

She dashed up the stairs. NO FEAR!

Here she is waiting... she doesn't look nervous yet.

Ready to go.

Bye Mom!!!

The person you hear screaming REALLY LOUD... that's TIA BEK! :0)

She made it with a smile on her face!

She is SO proud of herself for being SO BRAVE! She now wants to go on a roller coaster that is even BIGGER!

Maybe even giddy! This one is WAY SCARIER!

Here she is when she got back.

She was saying, " SCARY, oh my HEART!"
It took her a minute to collect herself.

Too funny! Bek said she kept slipping down lower and lower on the seat and hiding her face. Bek held her hand so she wouldn't freak OUT!
She immediately wanted to call Daddy to tell him how brave she is.
It was so cute listening to her trying to explain a roller coaster ride in English!!! She was using vocabulary I think she just learned that day.
I was so proud of her. It was amazing to see her take that on and conquer it! Talk about a confidence booster.

Zoe talking to Daddy! Too funny. She has now decided she likes roller coasters where you have the metal harness thing so you don't slip around. She doesn't like the ones where you just sit with the bar on your lap. SMART GIRL!

Dear Angel,
WOW!!! I just came across your blog from Kya's blog. I must have sat yesterday for HOURS reading your old and new blog...following the whole adoption process with Zoe. HOW AMAZING and TOUCHING!!! We brought home our baby girl from Guatemala a year ago and we definitely want to adopt again. I wasn't thinking about an older child---but after reading your story, it has really affected me. It must be a God thing that I came across your blog. Both your girls are so beautiful!! I am a teacher and think you are doing a great job homeschooling...I was in tears watching Zoe read that page of a book. Isn't adoption wonderful! God bless you all! Thanks also for all the inspiration in your blog (the songs, the Bible verses, the honest feelings)--I really needed that! :)

Too cute! She is amazing. She has learned so much English. I wouldn't go on that for a million bucks! She is brave. If Savannah wants to go when she is older, we will have to find someone to go with her.

I found your blog through the "no more junk" one, and devoured all of the Zoe saga in a day. Both your girls are adorable and Kaitlyn's stories are sooo cute. I'm Guatemalan so if you ever need anything (translations, Guate info, Escuintla info, etc.) let me know please. I think your family is amazing.

Zoe and Kaitlyn are soooo cute! They must take after their grandpa :) Ok, maybe their good mom has something to do with it! I'm glad Zoe has Tia Bek to take her on roller coasters so her chicken grandpa doesn't have to do it.
